In addition to our anti-counterfeiting products, Holoptica has developed a range of software and hardware solutions for the authentication and verification of documents, OVDs and DNA markers.
A hologram, a DNA mark or a coded document is only as useful as the tool that reads it. holoMAX and the platforms below are how a customs officer, a retailer, a brand owner or an ordinary customer actually checks one — with nothing more than a smartphone, or a small handheld reader where a phone isn't enough.

Holoptica's consumer-facing app, bringing verification, authentication and track & trace together into a single scan — Verify, Authenticate, Inform, Validate, Engage, Track & Trace and Protect, all from one app.

Created in-house, VTN is a simple but extremely powerful mobile app that instantly verifies and authenticates any document marked with holoQR or holoNFC. Scan the mark with a smartphone, enter the unique PIN printed on the label, and the document's information is displayed in as much — or as little — detail as the authorities require.

A totally new concept for identifying and authenticating OVDs. The holoTRUE smartphone app scans numerous security components covertly contained within the holographic image itself, and instantly compares them against the pre-loaded original design — flagging any variation so authorities can verify the hologram is genuine.

A small hand-held device capable of reading DNA codes generated in our Australian laboratory. It identifies the specific customer, document or product DNA signature and sends the result to any authorised mobile device, where the Holoptica app interprets the signal and displays the result.
Some of Holoptica's protection is invisible by design. Two small readers verify the covert features built into holoQR holograms.
A pocket-size reader, similar to a laser pen, that reveals a hidden holographic feature and confirms the hologram is genuine.
A compact 30 × 30 mm reading device for holoRIZE, Holoptica's proprietary covert feature, which can be verified only with this device.
VTN isn't just an internal tool — it's already integrated into one of the world's primary customs enforcement platforms.
A bespoke version of the VTN app has been adopted by the World Customs Organization as part of their IPM Connected program — the WCO's own online tool to combat counterfeiting. It enables the real-time exchange of verification information directly with field officers.
